If you are having a crisis before going to bed, drink a glass of water, and find some hobby that will distract you. Avoid eating right before you go to bed because that is the worst thing you can do for your health. Your organs need to rest during the night too.
A good sleep includes providing a full rest for your body. Long and good sleep should be on the top of your list of priorities. Do not full yourself by saying that you will sleep during the weekend or convince yourself that one day of long sleeping is enough to feel rested because it is not. It can actually make you feel hungrier during the day and your body will ask for more food.
Also, if you do not have a good sleep which means that you are waking up during the night, your body will feel the stress and it is more likely that you will gain excess fat.
